Apart from welcoming the success of both our 10th anniversary Highland Fling in Perthshire and The Camp in Spain (both of which were tremendous), we are also excited about our new 16 Plus Camp launching soon.

New Size 16 Plus Camp

We have decided that it is time to launch a new camp for those who may be slightly nervous about joining us on our regular weeks.

Have you put on a few pounds, but are scared to pick up the phone and join us? Do you worry you will be left behind and can’t manage the exercises? Do you think you will be the slowest in the group?

For these reasons, and many others, our new 16 Plus Camp can alleviate all of those fears and we are confident that you will enjoy a tremendous week with incredible results. Our team have witnessed so many successes over the years.

Sunny Spain Success

Many clients joined us at ‘Cazulas' in Spain last week. It is always such a joy to see so many friendly faces from all over the world and watch new friendships being made.

Weather wise it was the most glorious week and we enjoyed the gorges, the hikes and some tremendous physical activity.

Steph, as usual, provided us with the most delicious, organically sourced food and we all returned home with a suntan and a great vibe of positivity. Thanks to you all for a fun week in the sun!

Highland Fling Success

Our 10 year Anniversary ‘Highland Fling Camp,’ in the stunning Perthshire hills was a tremendous success. We all kayaked, climbed a Munro, hiked, played team games, tossed cabers and so, so much more.

Whilst we worked hard to increase our fitness we have also never laughed so much! On the last night we celebrated in style with the most amazing four course meal created by the talented Tony Budde and we even saw ‘Nessie in the Mist!’

Thanks you so much to all of our wonderful repeat clients who have supported us on our ten year journey – your loyalty is much appreciated and we too were delighted with the results! Fitness and health is a journey to be enjoyed and experienced and even more so when part of a team.

Top Tips from Amy

Amy, our much respected nutritionist, joined us at our Highland Fling Camp to speak with us about optimum nutrition before and after exercise, amongst other things. Here is her helpful list of ideas:

BEFORE
To ensure the energy release is slow and steady.

  • Rye bread/nut butter/banana
  • Greek yoghurt and Trail Mix
  • Yoghurt, banana, cinnamon, oats  
  • Porridge and fresh fruit
  • Apple wedges and almond butter
  • Smoothie – almond milk, spinach, frozen berries

AFTER
For recovery mode, the body requires a nutrient dense dish.

  • Grilled chicken, vegetables in oil
  • Vegetarian omelette with avocado
  • Salmon and sweet potato
  • Tuna, hummus and spinach flatbread
  • Chocolate milk
  • Smoked salmon, Ryvita/oatcake & a squeeze of lemon
