What is it? The team at 'The Camp' will deliver a package based on the same principles as the highly successful original course but with less emphasis on weight loss. The main focus of the ‘Advanced Fitness Course’ will be to dramatically increase fitness and improve muscle tone, resulting in a noted improvement in resting heart rate. The course will be challenging and will push your fitness levels up to the next plateau. Activities will include boxing, running, circuit training, hill walking, biking and possibly some fell running. Who is it for? It is for ‘fairly’ fit clients who would like to increase their fitness further, whilst learning some new skills, meeting new people and enjoying the Scottish countryside. Clients may have already attended ‘The Camp’ or you may be a new client looking to improve your fitness levels for personal reasons or maybe for a sporting event. This course is for the type of person who enjoys being fit and healthy and perhaps enjoys entering 10K’s, half marathons, triathlons etc. Or you could be the type who just loves the buzz from constant physical exercise. We have had a great deal of interest from skiers, riders, personal trainers and fitness instructors. How many clients are on each course? We cater for a maximum of twenty one clients on each ‘Advanced Fitness Camp.’ How much does it cost? The cost is £1750 for a private room with en suite or £1450 for a shared room with en suite, for one full week. The course is run from our 3,000 acre country house estate and meals are taken in the drawing room, beside the roaring log fire. All instruction, full liability insurance, kit, food and a complimentary transfer from Glasgow Airport, Prestwick Airport or Carlisle Railway Station. |
