Start Up Stars

The Camp is proud to announce that they have been selected for the semi finals of the HSBC 'Start-Up Stars' awards, from many thousands of applicants. The Camp has gone forward into a group of semi-finalists and this will be ‘slimmed down' in the second week of September to the finalists.

We will be keeping our website up-to-date to let you know how we get on.

Changing Numbers

Many of you may have noticed that we have changed the number on our website to an 0800 free phone number. This is because we think that you shouldn't have to pay to call us and, just in case you are worried about the cost of calling from your mobile you can do this for free by logging onto 0800buster.co.uk and following the instructions on screen.

How a week at The Camp changed my life

In June we launched a competition for all of our past clients asking them to write and tell us ‘How a week at The Camp Changed My Life'. We had a really enormous response which made picking our winner even more difficult.

After much deliberation our winner was Leanne Franklin-Smith, who since coming to The Camp has taken up the challenge to take part in a 320mile race to the North Pole for The Camp's chosen charity ‘Help for Heroes'. We wish her every success in her challenge.

The Camp Adventure Weekend success

Between the 31st of July and the 2nd of August The Camp held its first Adventure Weekend in the Derbyshire Peak District.

The weekend was designed for past clients who fancied a bit of adventure with friends that they had made at The Camp, wanted a bit of a boost to their training or just fancied doing something different for the weekend.

The adventure consisted of hill walking, caving and climbing as well as some much loved ‘Camp' style physical training sessions.

Those who went on the weekend told us:

‘It was fabulous – a great bit size reminder of The Camp and the format worked really well.'

‘…as I would have expected the guys were amazing – I don't think I would trust any other crew to get me to do the things I do with you. The encouragement and delight when we succeed is really great and an inspiration to all of us to just push that bit harder…'
