WINTER VEGETABLES RECIPE

This is the time of year to use root vegetables and Allan has a lovely warming recipe for Sunday lunches - keep up your 5 a day!
1. Set the oven to 180 degrees.
2. Peel & cut butternut squash and carrots into large chunks & add to a large oven proof dish, with peeled baby onions (sweet potatoes can be added too).
3. Cover in olive oil & add fresh rosemary.
4. Cook in the oven for 30 – 45 mins, turning once.

MICHELLE CLIMBS TO NEW HEIGHTS

We would like to congratulate one of our past Campees, Michele Glazebrook as she has successfully completed a climb of Mount Kilimanjaro.

She said ‘I came down the same day Abramavich (Chelsea's russian owner) started climbing (of course he failed to make it later that week). I managed completely on my own, carried my own kit and didn't suffer from any altitude sickness at all.  That was, I am sure, helped by the fitness weekend in the Peak District at the end of July. It was incredibly hard work (just breathing!), was very cold (minus 20C at night) and really filthy.  I am definitely not a tent sort of girl but I managed to use a tent for a whole week and not wash for the same week – this is so out of my comfort zone it did me the world of good.

My group raised £100k for our local breast cancer research unit which I think is pretty amazing. It's the first time I have ever done anything like this and I am sure I wouldn't have made it if The Camp hadn't started me on the road to fitness. I know many wrote me off as a no hoper when I went to The Camp in May 2007! The Camp has really changed my life in more ways than one!'

CHARITY SUPPORT - CANCER RESEARCH UK

As a business we believe in supporting charities that are relevant to either our business or our clients.  To this end we have chosen ‘Cancer Research UK'  for 2010.  We have donated a free place at The Camp in Scotland (worth £1750) to be auctioned off at ‘The Pink Ice Ball' at The Dorchester in 2010.
