‘After I came back from active operations I lurked around London for a while, but I really missed the Army and, most of all, I missed the boys. I needed a new challenge and the special forces is about as good a challenge as you can get. The guys I was with in the Black Watch came from every walk of life. I worked with soldiers whose parents were murderers. I saw men’s lives transformed, men who changed their lives through the army, who were nothing to do with it. The experience taught me that all you need to do is harness them to something they believe in.
Clover Stroud, the journalist from Tatler writes; Two years ago he started the first boot camp in this country. Called simply ‘The Camp,’ it’s the original & best hardcore weight-loss & fitness camp run for women only & has ex-special forces as instructors.
Morley goes on to tell Tatler, ‘Sometimes when I am walking in a city I’ll go up to a group of teenagers hanging around on a street corner & urge them to join the army. It makes me so frustrated because I know they would just love it. I feel deeply privileged to have served alongside those men in The Black Watch.’
